KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test) is a state-level entrance exam conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) for admission to undergraduate professional courses in Karnataka. Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit: Minimum 17 years by December 31, 2026 Educational Qualification: Passed or appearing in Class 12 (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology for Engineering/Pharmacy/Agriculture courses Minimum Marks: 45% aggregate in PCM/PCB for General category, 40% for SC/ST/CAT-1 Nationality: Indian Nationals, Karnataka Domicile required for state quota
Exam Pattern
Mode: Offline (Pen & Paper) Duration: 1 hour per subject Subjects: Physics – 60 questions Chemistry – 60 questions Mathematics – 60 questions (for Engineering) Biology – 60 questions (for Agriculture/Pharmacy) Marking Scheme: +1 for correct, 0 for incorrect or unattempted Total Marks: 180 (per subject)
